Expiring domains the internet have made such a big difference to our lives and it is hard to imagine what life would be like without it. Most people have use of a computer with many families having their own. Children learn from an early age at school the basic steps of using a computer and most children know more about computers than their grandparents do. There are hundreds and thousands of domains on the internet and also many expiring domains. A domain is a web site kept on a surfer for which there is a charge. People buy a domain for a period of time which could be from one year to ten years or even longer, but when the time has expired you have to pay again or the domain is listed under expired domain names for someone else to buy. Anyone wanting to buy a domain needs to search on Google, Yahoo or NSM or any other search engine and a list of names will come up. The price you pay for a domain could be anything from a few pounds to a few thousand pounds depending on the importance of the domain. The page ranking which could be from nought to fifteen will determine the price as a page ranking at number one will cost far more than a page ranking a number fifteen. Companies advertising on the internet always want to be on page one if possible as most people soon tire of looking for items after page three or four.

Advertising on the internet is big business and many shops have had to close because of people buying off the internet. It is far easier to search the web, order and have goods delivered straight to the home than spending time hunting the shops for a bargain. Comparison web sites make it so much easier to get a bargain and many people prefer to shop this way particularly people who have very little time to spare or people who find it difficult getting about. Everything can be bought over the internet even holidays and students are more likely to look up information on the internet when studying than going to the library to find a particular book that might be useful. The computer and the internet has changed our lives and whether we use it for buying, selling, information or sending messages via E Mails we would be lost without it.
